WordPress Hack Fix.

Get your site fixed

If your WordPress website has been hacked, we can help you fix it with our WordPress malware removal service.

Don’t panic.

If your WordPress site has been hacked, it may display any of the following:

  • Redirects to another site when you visit your site
  • Displays incorrect (or inappropriate) content when you visit your site
  • Doesn’t work at all – you just see a blank white page (this could be other errors)
  • Other symptoms include hacked redirects, WordPress viruses, defacing your website and random redirects

The first stage in repairing a hacked WordPress site can often be to scan the WordPress database for malware – however, the offending scripts may not be found here.

A WordPress malware scanner will not always be able to find the issue – especially if it’s a free online tool – you might be better off looking at something like Sucuri to scan your site – but this can be expensive.

Keep your site up-to-date!

If your WordPress site has been hacked due to out-of-date plugins, there’s a good chance that it will be hacked again if you don’t update everything.

Outdated plugins and themes are often the most common reason your website will get hacked in the first place, so once it’s cleaned, it’s crucial to implement updates as soon as possible.

Press that button!

If you are not comfortable updating your website to protect it from hackers, we can do this for you.

Make sure you have backups.

By far the quickest way to restore a hacked site is to restore it completely from a previous hack-free backup.

On many hosting accounts, this can be done at the click of a button, but if you are on cheap hosting, you may not have this option.

One other thing that hosting companies often do is to completely disable your hacked WordPress site, making it impossible to get at it from the front end (sometimes hacks only affect the front end of your site, not the dashboard).
