Do you need SEO with your hosting?
We offer bolt-on SEO retainers from £370/month. Everything is tailored and delivered in-house:

There is a minimum three-month contract. After that, hosting is then billed monthly – simple!
You can cancel anytime after the initial period with 30 days’ notice.
If you prefer, we offer annual contracts with a discount — but please note these are non-refundable if cancelled early. We’ll always help you choose the most cost-effective option for your needs.

What are your response times?
Mission-critical issues (like 500 errors or site outages) are prioritised immediately during office hours. General enquiries are usually turned around in 3–5 working days.

Who provides the hosting infrastructure?
We use a small number of carefully selected, premium hosting providers, including SiteGround, Pressable (owned by WordPress.com), and WPEngine. Depending on your plan, your site may also be hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure via our partners.
Unlike typical shared hosting, we only use high-performance cloud-based plans (such as SiteGround’s Scalable Cloud Hosting) and manage everything for you, from setup and migrations to updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
We don’t resell cheap hosting. We use trusted, industry-leading platforms and combine them with expert management to give you a faster, more secure, and hassle-free service.
Do you offer 24/7 or out-of-hours support?
We don’t offer 24/7 or weekend support. Our team is available during UK office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm.
This is intentional, we don’t outsource or use call centres. You’ll speak to the same small, UK-based team who know your site and your business.
Need round-the-clock support?

Is WordPress support included?
No — and there’s a good reason for that. While some hosting companies include basic WordPress support in their plans, it’s often limited and delivered by general support staff with little technical or creative expertise.
We prefer to keep hosting and support separate, so you only pay for what you need — and when you do need help, you’ll get it from real WordPress professionals who understand your site, not a scripted helpdesk.

Why is your hosting more expensive than IONOS or GoDaddy?
Low-cost providers like IONOS and GoDaddy typically offer unmanaged, entry-level shared hosting, you’re responsible for everything: updates, backups, security, performance, and fixing issues if something breaks.

What’s the difference between Dedicated Hosting and Bespoke Hosting?
Dedicated Hosting gives you your own powerful server environment, ideal for high-traffic or business-critical WordPress sites. It can be fully managed by us or hosted directly via WPEngine’s premium infrastructure, with excellent performance, security, and uptime.
Bespoke Hosting goes a step further. It’s a custom-built solution tailored to your exact needs, with options for redundant failover, multi-site architecture, custom scaling, and enhanced disaster recovery. These setups are ideal for enterprise-level sites, complex platforms, or organisations with specific compliance or uptime requirements.
In both cases, you get a server to yourself, fully managed by us or directly with WPEngine, but Bespoke Hosting includes extra layers of resilience, scalability, and customisation.
Do you provide domains or email?
We don’t sell domains or email accounts. We recommend registering your domain yourself (we’ll guide you). For email, we suggest Google Workspace or Siteground Mail. We can help set these up and manage DNS through Cloudflare if needed.
What else does Toast do?
Toast is a full-service agency, so as well as looking after your website, we can help with WordPress development & support, SEO, design work, branding, print design, infographics, social media and any creative task you need!
We’re a 16-strong team of creatives that all work in the same studio, so everything is done in-house and many of our clients use us as a marketing and design partner.
What makes Toast different from other WordPress hosting companies?
As above – we provide a wide range of additional services.
- If you need content writing or a bit of artwork changing, most other WP Support teams will tell you they don’t do that – we do!
- We are also all based in one studio in Banbury, Oxfordshire – many other providers simply farm-out support requests to poorly paid off-shore freelancers. The 16-strong Toast team are fully employed full-time and part-time staff.

*Scalability: All hosting plans are scalable. If your site exceeds its plan limits (e.g. storage or monthly visits), we’ll get in touch to recommend an upgrade or ask you to reduce usage. Additional resources are charged separately — POA depending on plan.
Fair usage: Hosting storage is for standard website content only. Uploading large video files, uncompressed images, or oversized PDFs may exceed your plan limits. We recommend optimising media before upload. If excessive storage is detected, we’ll contact you to ask you to reduce usage or discuss an upgrade.
Uptime guarantee: We aim for 99%+ uptime, but please note this allows for brief periods of scheduled maintenance or unexpected server-level issues. Downtime is rare, but not impossible.
Migrations: We offer free migrations for all hosting clients, limited to one automated migration attempt per site. If a manual migration is required, this will be charged at our standard ad-hoc hourly rate.
Ex VAT: All prices listed are exclusive of VAT.
Client access: Hosting is fully managed by us, but we’re happy to provide access on request if you’d like it.
